(Senior) Data Engineer (all genders)

Your responsibilities

Supporting the development of reliable data platforms and architectures in agile customer projects
Collaborating on the design and implementation of data solutions, both on-premise and in the cloud – with guidance from experienced colleagues.
Assisting in building data pipelines and transforming data to support business needs and processes.
Contributing to the integration of data from various systems to ensure consistency and accessibility.
Working closely with Software Engineers and Cloud Architects in Germany as part of cross-functional teams.

Your profile

Practical experience and strong interest in Data Engineering and working with modern data architectures.
Awareness of the importance of data quality and a willingness to learn about Data Strategy and Data Governance.
Hands-on skills in Python, data pipelines (ETL/ELT), data modeling, and working with SQL/NoSQL databases or data warehouses.
Basic understanding or first-hand experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and basic DevOps concepts – curiosity and motivation to deepen this knowledge are key.
Interest in working with SaaS data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
Experience with data ingestion from various sources (APIs, databases) and ensuring data quality
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills, e.g. to present your work, explain technical topics, and engage with clients
Very good English and Portuguese language skills (C1); German is a plus but not required.
